Local Democratic candidates have been supportive of LGBT issues. Voting for them and encouraging others to do the same will help the LGBT community bring our issues to the forefront.

Mike Donlan for County Commissioner
Mike is the former Chair of the Lancaster County Democratic Party. As such, he has mentored several out-LGBT members, helping them to get their voice heard both on a county and state level. His campaign for Lancaster County Commissioner focuses on bringing back fiscal responsibility and a sense of fairness to the County Commission, which controls a range of services, including county roads, the County Jail, Lancaster Manor, many emergency services, and more.

Wayne Bole for County Commissioner
Wayne is a member of PFLAG and a longstanding supporter of the LGBT community. He seeks to bring back accountability and advocate that the Lancaster County Commission follow the Comprehensive Plan to retain equitable, sustainable growth of the City of Lincoln.
