The Nebraska Democratic Party Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Caucus is devoted to advancing equal rights for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. The Caucus supports the Democratic Party and Democratic candidates who support our mission.

By joining the LGBT Caucus, you will become part of a network of other concerned LGBT People and Allies. You can help organize political and social events allowing us as a community to get to know each other, educate elected officials, the media and others, influence and support Democratic candidates that support LGBT issues, communicate important issues to a broad audience, raise funds for the LGBT Caucus and its activities, raise funds for Democratic candidates who support LGBT community and the local and state Democratic Party.

How to Join

Attend monthly LGBT Caucus meetings to meet other LGBT community members and allies; to volunteer for fund-raisers, issues forums, and more; to become educated on political issues and the political process. Your involvement is strictly confidential!

Membership is statewide. Voluntary annual dues of $20 are encouraged. (Dues help fund basic mailings, activities and services of the caucus.) Call 402-475-7291, or contact us by email to get more information.
